What makes us different
More than a checklist
Our caregivers bring an activities programme into the house — music, arts and crafts, dancing, games, reading aloud. Not filler. For someone who has stopped leaving the house much, the difference between a caregiver who completes tasks and one who brings the afternoon to life is the difference between existing at home and living there.

In-home assessment
We’re homemaker & companion services, not home health
If a doctor ordered skilled nursing, wound care or physical therapy, that’s home health, it’s usually covered by Medicare, and you need a Medicare-certified agency. That isn’t us, and we’ll tell you so on the phone rather than waste your time.
What we do is the everyday help Medicare generally doesn’t pay for and families most often need for the long haul. Plenty of families need both: a nurse twice a week and us the other five days.

What can a homemaker or companion help with?
Companionship and social interaction, light housekeeping, laundry and routine household chores, meal planning and preparation, grocery shopping and errands, and someone to accompany your loved one to doctor appointments, recreational outings and shopping trips.
Do you provide nursing or medical care?
No. Agape Family Care LLC provides non-medical Homemaker and Companion Services. We do not provide hands-on personal care or nursing services under our Homemaker and Companion Services registration. We also don’t provide wound care, injections or therapy, and we don’t administer medication. For skilled care you’ll need a Medicare-certified home health agency, and we’re glad to work alongside one.
Is there a minimum commitment?
Yes — 15 hours per week, so your loved one gets consistent care from people they come to know rather than a rotating cast of strangers.
How much does it cost?

Does Medicare pay for this?
Generally no. Medicare covers skilled home health, not ongoing non-medical home care. Some long-term care insurance policies, VA benefits and Florida Medicaid programs do. More on who pays →
Can you help while I’m away?
Yes. Companionship and household help while you travel is one of the things we’re asked for most, from an afternoon to a couple of weeks.
What areas do you serve?
Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Bonita Springs, Estero and across Lee County, and north into Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda. Call and ask — if we can get there, we will.
