About us · Locally owned
Agape Family Care LLC provides non-medical Homemaker and Companion Services to elderly, disabled, and convalescent adults. Our goal is to provide dependable companionship and household support that helps our clients remain comfortable and connected in their homes and communities.
Agape Family Care is not a franchise. There is no regional office, no call center in another state, and no territory map drawn by somebody who has never been to Lee County.
It is Marie Morisseau, and the caregivers she has chosen herself.
Marie Morisseau, owner

Marie Morisseau has worked with older adults in Southwest Florida for more than 25 years. Agape Family Care is hers. Not a franchise, not a call center. She takes the calls herself, she meets every family, and she chooses every caregiver personally. When you ring the number on this page, Marie is who answers.
She is a Florida-certified nursing assistant, and she has completed the state’s 26-hour Assisted Living Facility Core Training. That background is the reason she is straight with families about what home care can and cannot do. Agape provides non-medical help at home. When what someone actually needs is skilled nursing, she says so and points the family toward an agency that provides it, rather than taking work she should not.

How we choose caregivers
Every caregiver is vetted before being placed with a family: background checks, training, and ongoing evaluation. Marie interviews and selects each one herself, so nobody arrives at your parent’s door who she has not personally chosen.
Every caregiver is chosen personally, not pulled from a roster. That is the practical advantage of staying small.
What we believe about home care
Staying home should be the default, not the luxury. Most people want to age in their own house, among their own things. Usually that is entirely achievable — it just needs the right help in the right hours.
Company is a service, not a bonus. Tasks can be done in silence by anybody. What actually changes someone’s week is conversation, music, cards, being asked how they slept. We treat that as the work, not as something that happens around the work.
Consistency beats convenience. A rotating cast of strangers is not care. It is why we ask for a 15-hour minimum — so your loved one sees the same face often enough to trust it.
Saying no is part of the job. We are non-medical, and we will tell you when what you need is a nurse, a therapist, a cleaning company or a facility. An agency that says yes to everything is telling you something about how it works.
Families we have worked with
Agape Family Care made such a difference in our lives. I was able to take time off without worrying about my mom. Their companion was caring, kind, and treated her like family.
