Temporary care goes wrong when a stranger turns up on the morning you leave. Everyone is anxious, nothing is where the caregiver expects, and you spend the trip on the phone.

So we do it the other way round. The caregiver visits beforehand — usually two or three shorter visits while you are still there — and learns the actual routine. Which chair. What time the tablets are laid out. Which programme is on at four. Who is allowed in the house. What the dog needs. Where the spare key is.

By the time you leave, it is a familiar face carrying on a familiar routine.

Staying in touch

You decide how much you want to hear. A daily message, a photo, an end-of-week summary, or nothing unless something needs your attention. We will always contact you if anything changes, and we will always call emergency services first if it is urgent.
